Ascend Academy - Congressional Debate Coach

As a senior at Bellarmine College Preparatory and a 3-year alumnus of Ascend, Vincent has been involved in Speech and Debate for 7 years; 4 in Congressional Debate. Now an incoming freshman at Santa Clara University (SCU), his proudest accomplishments include California State Champion (2025), NSDA Senate Finalist, California State Finalist (2024), 2nd at ASU, 2nd at Stanford, 2nd at MLK, 3rd at Jack Howe, and 4th at the Harvard Round Robin. Vincent believes in turning flow into entertainment, through making concise refutation, following clear structure, and incorporating tuff, but poignant rhetoric. He’s excited to help students build on a style that not only fits them but is also entertaining to listen to. Outside of debate, Vincent likes late-night taco bell runs, re-watching Snowfall, and perfecting his secret home-made protein bar recipe.untry, but while following those, students should maintain and develop their own personal, unique styles. When Lulu isn’t at a tournament, she loves cooking, sewing, watching Gossip Girl, and jamming out to some country tunes.
