Ascend Academy - Public Forum Coach

Niranjan is an Economics and Political Science major at UCLA. As a Public Forum competitor, Niranjan placed 2nd at Nationals, top 20 at the Gold Tournament of Champions, and amassed 10+ bids to the TOC. As a coach, Niranjan’s students have received numerous gold bids and reached high elimination rounds at both the California state and National tournaments. As a mentor, Niranjan prioritizes finding the balance between lay and technical debate, and merging the two to create an argumentative yet persuasive style. Public Forum is a dynamic event, and competitors must adjust their approach in each round to be successful.

In his free time, Niranjan loves watching basketball(Thunder fan!!!), listening to music, and eating Taco Bell.
